Production platform installed in Angelin, and new developments approved
- The unmanned production platform in Angelin arrived in the country’s waters, and was installed in the West Block field, 60 km from the southeast coast. In February 2019, gas production started on the Angelin platform. Facilities are operated remotely and the generated gas flows to the Serrette platform through a new 21 km pipeline, before reaching the Cassia Hub for processing.
- In December, two new developments for existing gas-production blocks were approved (“Cassia Compression” in the “SEG Cassia” block and “Matapal” and in “East Mayaro” block).
